Among the many heroes of Tollywood the place for Nagarjuna is special. He is still considered a bankable hero who can do at least 25 crores business.
So, it is natural that if his film is having an audio release event it must be grand. But nothing of that sort happened with his new movie ‘Bhai’.
The film was due for release during Dasara but due to the invasion of ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’ the makers had to postpone it to October 25th. In order to accommodate that, the audio release event seems to have happened in a hurry.
Except Nag, no big celebrity was there. Even heroine Richa Gangopadhyay was there for ten minutes and she left.
There was no anchor and director Veerabhadram had to do that job. Music director Devi Sri Prasad was expected to do some dance hungama but that didn’t happen.
All in all, the event turned out to be a damp squib. Added to that, some are saying dialogues like ‘Ee bhai aayudham lekunda champestadu’ ‘atmosphere alert aithe bhai vachinatte’ ‘hyderabad lo bhai toh paatu padhi rupaayala chai kuda samaaname’ have brought down the image of the film.
