![Public Money Wasted On KCR's Chandi Yagam!](https://www.greatandhra.com/newphotos9/ga_politics1611037702.jpeg)
While Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been repeatedly claiming to be using his own money and that of 'like-minded donors' to perform Aayutha Chandi Maha Yagam at his farm house from December 23 to 27 on a grand scale, the ground reality is different.
KCR has been spending crores of rupees of public money on yagam by way of making arrangements for the event and the entire Medak district administration is busy serving the KCR's farmhouse for the last one month.
Police, revenue, panchayat raj and other departments of Medak are busy performing duties at his farm house. The officials and staff of these departments who are paid salaries from public money by the government have no other public duty but to attend duties at KCR's farmhouse.
Even the expenses on special flights and helicopters being used by KCR to invite VIPs for yagam are being borne from the public money.
KCR hired an helicopter to visit Vijayawada on Monday to invite AP CM Chandrababu Naidu
KCR hired one more special flight and an helicopter to invite Sringeri Peetadhipathi on Wednesday.
He will travel to Mangalore by a special flight from Hyderabad and take an helicopter from there to reach Sringeri.
Since, KCR has been travelling to all these places in his capacity as CM, all the expenses are being borne by the Telangana government.
Then where is the justification in KCR's claims that public money is not being used and entire expenditure for yagam is being borne by him and some donors?
