Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has promised to create one lakh jobs for the educated unemployed every year. It's more than a year since he came to power and not a single job was created so far.
In fact, the Telangana Public Service Commission would also be completing one year of its inception in the next couple of weeks but it has not come out with any recruitment notification so far.
Telangana TDP spokesman Nannuri Narsireddy lamented that KCR had promised to provide one job to each house if TRS comes to power, but he is unable to provide at least a job to each village.
He said KCR captured power after giving a hope of government jobs to the youth. While unfurling the flag at the historic Golconda on August 15 and at the party’s meeting, the Chief Minister had said recruitment would be taken up for government posts, but this was not done, he alleged.
Though KCR is giving political jobs to opportunists and political unemployed leaders, it was unfortunate that he was ignoring the genuine unemployed youth by not fulfilling the promises, Narsireddy said adding that KCR had said in the Legislative Assembly itself that there were one lakh government posts were vacant. But not a single post was filled-in.
