The MLAs also told him that the Congress cadre was angry and vexed with Sonia Gandhi and that the Congress chief coordinators were telling them not to contest on the Congress ticket.
They also told him point blank that trying to convince them saying that the Congress party was a national party and that remaining in the party would help them in distant future, was of no use.
