Information Technology Minister Ponnala Laxmaiah on Thursday exuded confidence that no hurdles could prevent the formation of a separate Telangana State.
Ponnala alleged that the Seemandhra leaders were organizing Samaikyandhra meetings with an intention to provoke the people of the Telangana region. He asserted that separate Telangana State would come into being shortly under any circumstances.
Referring to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s Samaikyandhra remarks, the IT Minister said the former’s views were purely personal and there was no need to react to such comments.
Questioning what the Jai Andhra Movement leaders were doing when the Samaikyandhra agitation was going on against bifurcation of the State, Ponnala felt that the Samaikyandhra meetings would definitely lower the prestige of the Telugu people.
