Telugu Desam Party politburo member Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy on Monday alleged that the Congress was out to destroy the future of Telugu people for its political selfishness after having tacit support of TRS and YSR Congress party.
“It is not justifiable to divide Andhra Pradesh and at least now, the ruling Congress should stop bifurcation process. Otherwise people will teach a befitting lesson” he said in an open letter to the UPA government in which he raised 12 questions and sought Centre’s clarification.
He said the election results of four States was a birth day gift to Sonia Gandhi. If the party failed to correct its anti-people decision, it will meet the same fate as in four States, Somireddy said.
Citing an instance of one of the subjects, the TDP leader said there would be one governor at Hyderabad for a joint capital. But he will act as per the suggestion by Telangana ministers and its government. How can he safeguard the interests of Seemandhra people and run the Seemandhra government, he questioned.
