Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu boasts of providing hi-tech administration to the state and that he would monitor everything on his dash board.
Not only that, he is forcing his party leaders to follow him by learning computer operations and monitoring the developmental activities online.
During his three-day orientation programme for party MLAs, MPs and ministers, he engaged some computer science graduates to teach the computer operations for his party functionaries.
And since Naidu needs publicity for everything, he also ensured that the entire programme got the media coverage. So far so good. But the party leaders have made the programme a farce. It was evident from the way one of the photographs taken by the media went viral.
It showed former MP Gadde Rammohan Rao operating a blank computer without even bothering to switch it on. And the engineering student standing beside him was also acting to suit the TDP leader, by operating the mouse for a non-functional computer.
And both Rammohan and the student were found seriously looking into the blank computer monitor, as if they are deeply studying something. This photo, which is now in circulation in social media, has drawn severe criticism from netizens.
The TDP leaders should do something really concrete for the people, instead of giving poses before the computers. Otherwise, they will get exposed easily in this modern world!
