Indira Gandhi used to source cotton and silk sarees from remote parts of India for her attire. She used to make a style statement from them.
Similarly, Narendra Modi is talked about for his dressing sense as much for his oratory skills. One can never forget the costly suit he donned for the the meeting with Barack Obama with his name engraved on it. Not bad for a humble tea seller.
And now Pawan Kalyan seems to be carving out a fashion statement of his own. For all public meetings, the Jana Sena chief is seen sporting a pyjama and comes with a beard, a couple of days old. This was the trend in the 70s and 80s when poets, journos and communist leaders were frequently seen in such attire.
Now, Pawan Kalyan is in the US to deliver a speech at Harvard. Will he sport the same attire for his speech at Harvard too or will he appear in the American style, spick and span with a suit and boot?
