During the run-up to the 2014 general elections, Pawan Kalyan was projected as the favourite of then prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Post elections, Pawan has conveniently wrapped up all work in Jana Sena and has been going about his film shootings. Well, that can be understood.
But one cannot understand how Narendra Modi does not seem to remember Pawan Kalyan anymore.
A few days back, Narendra Modi has launched his ‘swachch Bharat’ campaign.
And he has called upon celebrities from all corners of India to join the campaign.
In fact, he threw up the challenge to film stars like Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Kamal Haasan; politicians like Sashi Tharoor, Goa Governor Mrudula Sinha; industrialists like Anil Ambani, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and Baba Ramdev.
The challenge on the lines of ice bucket challenge now goes in the name of ‘Clean India Campaign.
But what has surprised many in the south is that Pawan Kalyan’s name hasn’t been nominated in the list.
Incidentally, Chandra Babu’s name also does not make it to the list. Well, did Modi miss out their names or did he forget them already?
