Pawan Kalyan Parroting TDP Agenda?

Pawan Kalyan Parroting TDP Agenda?

Actor-turned-Jana Sena party founder Pawan Kalyan, who has charmed millions of fans across the Telugu States, seems to have fallen into the trap of Telugu Desam Party president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

If one were to go by his comments before the media after meeting Naidu in Vijayawada on Thursday, Pawan Kalyan was simply parroting the TDP agenda, whether it was on land acquisition for Amaravati capital or conducting of bauxite mining in Srikakulam-Vizianagaram districts.

He also seems to have forgotten the demand for Special Status to AP, as was evident from his statement that there was no point in taking up dharnas or fasts for the demand.

“It is pretty evident that Pawan Kalyan was perfectly tutored by Naidu, as his words clearly spelt out the agenda of TDP," YSR Congress party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said.

He reminded that the actor had not uttered a word against forcible acquisition of land in the capital region.

“In the past, he claimed that he would even take up indefinite fast if the land is acquired forcibly from the farmers. Now, he needs to give an explanation to the people as to why he is keeping silent now though the land is being taken up under coercion from the farmers," he said.

He alleged that Pawan was deliberately misleading the public and the media as well or he must be echoing what he was told inside by Chandrababu Naidu, the YSR Congress leader observed.

The Jana Sena appears to be fast emerging as an affiliated unit of the TDP, he said.
