Of late, every time that Pawan Kalyan opens his mouth, one thing he doesn’t forget to say is ‘I have no money’.
Rumor has it that Pawan gave quite a hefty amount of his savings to Renu Desai after their separation. But nevertheless, being one of the highest paid actors down South, it is indeed surprising to hear him say that he has nothing with him. In fact, this may be a message from Pawan Kalyan to all those keen on joining the Jana Sena.
What Pawan probably means is this : “Do not expect any monetary support from the party if you join me. You will have to bear your own expenses and try and win on my personal charisma.”
Therefore, only those who can bear the cost of winning elections on their own will approach the Jana Sena founder.
What’s more, they would probably also be expected to contribute to the new party coffers. In that sense, would Jana Sena also turn out to be a rehashed version of Praja Rajyam? We shall have the answer by 2019.
