Deputy Chief Minister and Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan is completely out of touch with his partymen and cadre for many months. He is almost isolated.
Many within Jana Sena say that their chief is not in touch with them and doesn’t even seem to know what he is doing, despite not being occupied with film shootings.
He is neither active in films nor engaged in political activities like meeting his own partymen and interacting with them.
The people of Pithapuram are also saying that Pawan Kalyan hardly visits them, and it is only the in-charge who is managing things in the region.
“We thought he would live with us when he bought a house in our town, but he hasn’t. It’s all bluff,” say some Pithapuram voters.
On the whole, the long-term disengagement of Pawan Kalyan, after elections, from active political involvement—both at his constituency level and party level—remains unexplained.
