Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is scheduled to attend a joint meeting with the TDP in Rajamahendravaram today.
TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan will co-chair the meeting, with other leaders from both parties in attendance.
The meeting is expected to focus on joint initiatives regarding Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest and the upcoming electoral campaign.
Pawan Kalyan is determined to secure a seat in the Assembly this time, having been unsuccessful in the last elections.
In the previous elections, he contested the Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram Assembly segments but lost both seats.
This time, he is resolute about his candidacy and firmly believes that his victory is possible only if he aligns with the TDP rather than the BJP.
For this reason, Pawan Kalyan aligned with the BJP and announced the alliance without seeking approval from BJP leaders.
Before attending the meeting, Pawan Kalyan should publicly declare that he has severed ties with the BJP and is aligning with the TDP.
Failure to make this clarification would leave the public to interpret Pawan Kalyan's political intentions.
It remains to be seen whether he will clarify his position or keep BJP leaders in the dark about his alliance with the TDP.
