Pawan A Better Speaker In English!

Pawan A Better Speaker In English!

All these days, people have been under the impression that power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan is not a good orator, if not bad.

It was proved in almost all his public speeches in various parts of Andhra Pradesh. In his very first speech itself, Pawan came up with written notes and virtually read out from them, often raising his voice to emotional sentences.

His sentences were never coherent, as he used to jump from one topic to another without any connection. He used to fumble several times, searching for words and in his eagerness to express his intelligence, he used to quote sentences of poets like Seshendra and fighters like Che Guevera.

But Pawan surprised everybody with his powerful speech at India Conference-2007 held at Harvard University, US, on Sunday.

He spoke fluently in English without any fumbling and expressed views very powerfully. Pawan, who got a surprising invitation from Harvard authorities last month, spoke at length on what was lagging among Indians and how they were divided by politicians on caste, religion and regional lines.

He said the element of oneness was lagging among Indians and this lack of unity was because of the narrow thinking of political leadership.

“People in south do not know and are least bothered about what is happening in Nagaland; and those in Delhi are least worried about the aspirations of the people in South. The national leadership responds only when something happens in Delhi. It took six decades for the leadership to make a Nirbhaya Act, only after a tragic incident happened in Delhi,” he lashed out.

Except that Pawan was trying to speak in a western slang, which looked artificial, he proved that he was more articulate in English than in Telugu!
