With the Telangana Bill coming up during the last Parliament session before the general elections, restrictions have been imposed to stop Telugu people from entering the Parliament premises.
In the past few days, hordes of Telugu people have landed in capital New Delhi and have been indulging in activities that will put the state to shame. Irrespective of the party they belong to, various leaders have been making trips to the capital and issuing senseless statements.
On the other hand, AP Bhavan has become the centre for staging dharnas.
While some MLAs have stooped down to the level of begging support from leaders of other states, others have been staging dharnas, few others have been indulging in embarrassing antics to grab media attention and have their two minutes of glory.
There was a time, when the Telugu leaders fought for self respect in Delhi, now they are making a spectacle of Telugu people.
It is rather shameful that the Telugu people are being stopped from entering the Parliament premises. This reflects upon what our leaders have done to us!
