Ever since the removal of Kiran Kumar Reddy has become imminent, union minister Panabaka Lakshmi has been on a war footing to garner support to become the CM of Andhra Pradesh.
It is heard that she has managed to get the support of her Cabinet Minister Veerappa Moily.
She has also been putting her close association with Ahmed Patel to good use.
On the other hand, she has been having constant meetings and discussions with various dalit MLAs and MPs.
She has recently become vociferous in her demand for a Dalit CM. Why is it that only names of leaders from forward castes are always considered for the CM’s post, she questions.
Well, looks like Panabaka is quite capable of pulling strings by remaining in the background.
