Results for Telangana Assembly Elections will be out on December 11. The polls were held on December 7. The long gap has given the room for speculations.
While majority of exit polls predicted that TRS would retain its power, Lagadapati’s survey gave Mahakutami an edge, saying the alliance would grab the power. Lagadapati also went on to say that TDP will win more than 5 seats.
However, producer V Ananda Prasad of “Paisa Vasool” and “Loukyam” is under immense tension, say the political pundits.
He contested from Serilingampally constituency on TDP ticket. At the beginning of the polls, he looked quite confident based on the calculation that the number of “Kamma” voters is huge in his constituency.
Arikapudi Gandhi of TRS also belongs to same community and the split seems to be the main worry for Ananda Prasad.
He is still confident that he would be winning at least with slender margin but he is quite tensed how the swing would turn. TRS candidate gave him stiff competition.
Similarly, Nandamuri Suhasini in Kukatpally who also contested on TDP ticket is worrying about her winning chances.
The voting percentage is quite low in this constituency and Kapus and Reddys in KPHB had openly declared their support to TRS.
So, what seemed to be cakewalk later become a tight fight. Who will win?
