
Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao still seems to have a lot of grude against the Seemandhra people, even after the bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking at a meeting after paying tributes to Telangana ideologue late Prof Jayashankar on the occasion of his death anniversary in the Telangana Bhavan, KCR said in the united Andhra Pradesh State, the people of Telangana region had got only record dances and Idli Sambar. The people had to struggle a lot to get separated from the colonial rule of the Seemandhra people, he said.
Bemoaning that Prof. Jayashankar was no more at the time of bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh State, KCR said his government would establish an institution in his name to perpetuate his memory besides installing a huge statue of the Telangana ideologue.
He also disclosed that one of the districts to be formed shortly would be named after Prof Jayashankar.
The TRS president continued to call his detractors “Sannasis”. He reminded that those Sannasis accused him of floating the TRS after failing to get a berth in the then TDP cabinet.
He said all people may not get posts, but many people would get posts definitely under his regime. He said his party programs would be intensified educating the people about the welfare and developmental programs.
