Senior Congress leader and MLC K R Amos on Monday found fault with Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana for trying to gain cheap publicity by giving leaks to media on his resignation.
Speaking to the media at the CLP office here, Amos lashed out at Botsa for calling up media and telling them that he would resign from the cabinet in protest against Telangana formation.
“Why has he not tendered his resignation so far? It is just a cheap publicity,” he said.
Amos expressed anger at the PCC president for writing a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi requesting her to send the Antony Committee to Hyderabad to take the opinions of all.
He questioned as to how the PCC Chief could address a letter without discussing the matter with the PCC Office bearers.
He demanded Botsa to give an explanation on the letter which was in defiance of the party high command.
