The GHMC elections have triggered a war of words between TRS and TDP. Leaders from both the parties are busy engaged in making sharp remarks against each other.
TTDP leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy's comments on TRS government's "SHE Teams" have been attracting the attention of city people.
In all the election campaigning meetings, KTR, ministers and other TRS leaders are referring to SHE Teams as one of the major achievements of TRS government during its 19-month rule to ensure safey and security for women and girls in Hyderabad.
However, Ravula gave a counter saying that only the gold chain on KCR's neck remained safe and the gold chains of all women in city were snatched away by chain snatchers, which shows the SHE Teams have failed to check this problem.
Ravula said women in Hyderabad are afraid to wear gold chains and coming on to the streets without gold chains and ornaments as they are being snatched away by chain snatchers coming on bikes and if SHE Teams were really that effective as claimed by TRS leaders, why they failed to check these chain snatchers.
He said neither the police force nor SHE Teams could ensure protection for women even after providing brand new Innova vehicles, bikes and other modern gadgets, which shows the failure of TRS government in improving the efficiency of police department and law and order situation.
