Telangana Rashtra Samithi has decided to go all out against its two rivals – the Congress and the Telugu Desam Party, who have now become friends, and expose their unholy nexus in its electioneering in the coming days.
TRS president and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who reviewed with his party senior colleagues the fallout of the Thursday’s meeting of Congress president Rahul Gandhi and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, decided that all the party leaders should launch a counter-attack on both the parties and tell the people how two arch rivals had come together with the sole objective of defeating the TRS.
On Friday, KCR’s son and IT minister K T Rama Rao went hammer and tongs at Naidu meeting Rahul Gandhi, forgetting the fact that the TDP was formed on the anti-Congress plank.
“It is like snake and mongoose making friendship. An old fox (Musali Nakka) like Congress has joined hands with a wily jackal (gunta nakka) like the TDP just for the sake of power,” KTR said.
Stating that the soul of TDP founder late N T Rama Rao must be stirring in his grave over the TDP-Congress alliance, KTR accused Naidu of backstabbing NTR twice – once when he was alive and now, 22 years after his death.
“They have no answer as to why KCR should be defeated in the coming elections,” he said.
The Telangana IT minister wondered whether Naidu would allow completion of irrigation projects in Telangana.
“He has no other business but to put spokes in the development of Telangana. He has a very bad history,” he alleged.
