Old Age Pension Rule Not Applicable For KCR

As many as four members in the family of Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao can enjoy posts and power, but his government wants to give only one old age pension to each family, irrespective of the number of old people in the house.

Minister for Information Technology and Panchayat Raj  K T Rama Rao on Friday said only one out of two old aged persons in a family will get pension from the State government.

He said KCR would formally launch the program at Kothur in Shadnagar mandal of Mahbunagar district on November 8 at 11 am. Some 1,000 beneficiaries will get the pension during the program. Each household will get one old age, widow pension each and any number of physically handicapped pensions, he said.

KTR refuted the criticism of the Opposition parties that the TRS Government is against the welfare of the poor and denies pensions to the eligible.

He accused the Opposition parties of resorting to baseless criticism that the TRS Government will not give pensions to all.

Why is one-pension-one family rule not applicable to KCR family? Apart from KCR who is the Chief Minister, his son KTR and nephew are MLAs and have now become ministers. His daughter Kavitha is an MP and enjoying enormous powers.

What will KCR loose if pensions are given to more than one person in the same family?
