Having won the recent assembly elections in Telangana with thumping majority, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seems to have set his eyes on Delhi.
KCR, who is confident of winning 16 out of 17 Lok Sabha seats in the coming 2019 general elections, wants to bring national focus to the TRS on the lines of Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Trinamul Congress.
For that, the TRS will have to make its presence felt in Delhi. That is precisely why KCR has decided to have TRS party office in the national capital.
The party is now in the process of identifying a suitable place for the construction of party office in Delhi.
“Once the site is identified and got it registered in the name of TRS, the chief minister will lay foundation stone for the party office after Sankranti,” TRS sources said.
The TRS president asked the party leaders including MPs would be overseeing the government lands in various places in Delhi.
Along with the MPs, vastu expert Sudhakar Teja would also see the places and suggest plans as per vastu. He will inspect a few sites and identify a suitable piece of land for the party office.
As per the rules, the TRS is likely to get about 1,000 sq. yards land for the party office in Delhi.
The chief minister wants the foundation stone for office to be laid after Sankranti and construction to complete in three months.
