Congress MP from Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajgopal on Sunday joined voice with his party leader and former minister J C Diwakar Reddy in alleging that the Congress high command had an illegal understanding with YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Lagadapati alleged that Jagan had colluded with Congress high command and become an adopted son of the Congress party. That was why the party was encouraging Jagan, he said.
Stating that the sole aim of Jagan in organising Samaikya Shankaravam meeting was to bag the Chief Minister post, the Vijayawada MP said Jagan had also had an understanding with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
“Why should Jagan criticise Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who has been seriously trying to stall the division of the State?” he asked.
He also found fault with Jagan for not mentioning the struggle waged by APNGOs for Samaikyandhra at his public meeting.
It was because of the Seemandhra Congress leaders that the Centre had slowed down the process of division of the State, he pointed out.
