Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s fondness for ‘vastu’ is well known.
Both have already spent crores of rupees of public money on rectifying ‘vastu defects’ in their camp offices, Secretariat etc ever since they assumed office in June 2014.
The ‘vastu mania’ of both these Telugu CMs has reached to such an extreme level now that both are planning to create new districts in AP and TS to suit their ‘vastu’ and ‘numerology’.
Normally, new districts are planned for administrative convenience. But in AP and TS, it’s done for ‘vastu’ reasons.
Vastu pundits are believed to have told Naidu that having 13 districts in AP was not a ‘good omen’ for him as per numerology. With this, Naidu is said to have asked ministers and officials to create a new district, taking total districts to 14.
Similarly, in TS, it’s well-known that KCR’s lucky number is 6. Right from his convoy to number plates on vehicles, he ensures that they suit his lucky number 6.
Now, plans are being made to create 14 new districts in TS. At present, TS has 10 districts and if 14 new districts are added, it will take total districts to 24. This will suit KCR’s lucky number of 6 (2+4=6).
Looks like the vastu mania of both these CMs will go a long way in the coming days.
