"While I am trying my best to complete Polavaram, there are stooges of the Centre in Andhra Pradesh who are conveying vital and misleading information about the project to the Centre and sabotaging the mission.
In States such as Tamil Nadu, all parties irrespective of their differences unite when it comes to taking on the Centre. But in Andhra Pradesh, the scenario is different," lamented Chandrababu Naidu.
It’s really amazing the way the Chief Minister twists the situations to further his own objective and that’s what he and his yellow media are masters at.
Forget about the Opposition Parties, what did the Chief Minister tell the people who were protesting special package instead of SCS? He threatened them with imprisonment and this was when he was in the NDA.
But the minute he comes out of the NDA, he wants people’s support for his war against the Centre? Can there be bigger hypocrisy than this?
Had there been absolute transparency about Polavaram and conviction about his sincerity, the people of their own accord would have stood behind the Chief Minister and supported him in all his endeavours.
But corruption is rampant in his administration and this is precisely why half the public are highly suspicious of his motives.
How long can he keep on fooling the public with his media management skills? Because of him, resentment against his community is reaching an all-time high which can have a seriously destabilizing effect on society eventually.
The conditions are not that different from those in Germany prior to World War 2 when the entire resources there were allegedly appropriated by the Jews leading to the rise of Adolf Hitler. Everyone knows what happened after that.
Instead of resorting to emotional blackmail and hoodwinking the people, why can’t Naidu just provide honest administration at least now? The State is badly in need of it.
