Home Minister Sabita Indira Reddy’s son Karthik Reddy was candid while speaking about the ordeal he went through on being accused about being involved in a murder case.
He said it was his bad luck that he was blamed when his mother was serving as the Home Minister.
Being accused in the murder of Suri resulted in sheer mental agony, he said.
He called upon people to help him identify wrong doers who tried to wrongly implicate him in the murder case. They will not be spared, he warned.
Confessing that he did have good relations with YS Jagan earlier, Karthik Reddy said he was no longer in touch with him.
Karthik also took the opportunity to clarify that he stays away from his mother’s official work.
His recent padayatra was to strengthen the Congress party’s image in the districts he said.
Though he intends to contest from West Ranga Reddy district, he said the final decision will be taken by the Congress party.
When asked if he would contest from Chevella Lok Sabha constituency, Karthik said it will be decided by the people and Congress party.
