The no-confidence motion proposed to some Seemandhra MPs was just a drama and it would serve no purpose.
This was the opinion expressed by Union Minister for Textiles Kavuri Sambasiva Rao on Sunday. Defending his decision not to support the no-confidence motion, he said he was aware that it was just a show.
“I did not support the no-confidence motion against UPA government as I know that the notice will not come for discussion,” Kavuri claimed.
Stating that he was a strong supporter of united Andhra Pradesh, Kavuri said his stand on bifurcation of the State did not change even after assuming the post of the Minister. He said there would be his full support to the agitation of the APNGOs to keep the State united.
“I am ready to tender my resignation to Union cabinet post if people demanded it for united Andhra Pradesh,” he asserted.
