No T-Bill In Winter Session?

If the reports from New Delhi are to be believed, the much-anticipated Telangana Bill might not come up in Parliament during the winter session.

It was evident on Monday, when the UPA government held an all-party meeting to finalise the agenda for the winter session.

The Centre has not listed the crucial Telangana Bill in agenda of the session.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj confronted Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath as to why the T-bill was not listed in the agenda.

Kamal Nath replied that the government was doing its best to place the bill during the forthcoming session.

This has raised questions about the sincerity of the centre in tabling the crucial bill.

It is being felt that the Congress top leadership may be wary of what might happen in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly before the draft bill comes to Parliament.
