No place for fraudsters in Cong please!

Senior Congress leader and  Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Wednesday wanted AICC president Sonia Gandhi to pass a resolution in the AICC Delegates Session on January 17 to keep away those indulged in financial frauds from the party.

The MP told media that he had written a letter to the party president requesting her to keep selfish people away from the party.

Party vice president Rahul Gandhi had already taken initiative to clean up the party organisation and to send stern message to the masses that Congress believed in making the society corrupt free.

He said that the common people had appreciated the interest taken by Rahul in fight against the corruption.

The MP said that the Congress vice president played a key role in the passage of Lokpal Bill in the Parliament.

There were some people in the party especially from the State who entered the politics to increase their wealth, bringing bad name to the party. He said that these set of people were taking away the opportunities from the real party workers.

He alleged that they would be ready to shift their loyalties for power.

The MP alleged that they have taken huge sums as loans from the banks and not paying them using the clout they enjoy.

He said that banks that did not give a single rupee as loan to the common people have entertained these types of leaders.
