No More Extension For T-debate?

AICC in-charge for Andhra Digvijay Singh on Friday hinted that there would be no more extension of time for Telangana debate.

He told media that the Centre wanted the State Assembly to send back the Telangana Bill as early as possible.

Singh said he had spoken to Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and underlined the need to send the bill back to the Centre soon.

This would enable the government to take up the bill as soon as the Parliament reopens for the Vote on Account session.

"It does not matter whether the Assembly accepts or rejects the Bill", Singh reiterated.

The Congress top brass is reportedly upset with the State leadership because of the way it has handled the ongoing assembly session.

Congress High Command has stressed on the need to pass the Bill as per schedule without any further ambiguity, it is learnt.
