Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao on Friday congratulated Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on the latter’s victory in Seemandhra region and his party poised to form first government in the residual State of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to mediapersons after the election results, KTR said there would be no more political animosity between Telangana and Seemandhra as the united State had been bifurcated after a long drawn struggle and supreme sacrifices of the Telangana youth. He observed that Telugu peoples in both the States can work together for welfare and development.
KTR also pointed out that though BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s wave swept all over the country, the TRS alone could resist the “NaMo” wave in the region with the blessings of the people.
He said his party was sending congratulations to the PM in the making. KTR made it clear that they would work along with Modi for the country’s development and welfare of the people.
KTR saluted to the people of Telangana region for giving overwhelming support to the TRS and helped it form the first TRS government in the Telangana State. KTR said he and his party would be grateful to the Telangana people for life for their unstinted support and blessings. He said his party government would serve the people with devotion and strive for welfare of the people and development of the new State to their expectations.
