Telugu Desam Party will lose deposits in all the assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh, forget returning to power, if YSR Congress party and Jana Sena Party join hands in the next assembly elections in the state.
This was stated by the disgruntled Telangana TDP leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu on Monday.
Speaking to media after paying homage to legendary actor and TDP founder N T Rama Rao on the latter’s birth anniversary at NTR Ghat in Hyderabad, Mothkupalli came down heavily on party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
“Naidu came to power in Andhra Pradesh only because of the support of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Jana Sena Party in 2014. This time, Naidu cannot win even a single seat.
If YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan forge an alliance in the next assembly elections, the TDP will not even get a deposit in any of the seats,” he said.
Mothkupalli accused Naidu of trying to distabilise the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government in Telangana.
“But KCR is cleverer than Naidu. That is why he sent Naidu packing to Andhra Pradesh by fixing him in cash for vote scam,” he said.
Stating that Naidu had no moral right to invoke the name of N T Rama Rao, Mothkupalli said the TDP was using NTR only for political gains in the elections and forgetting him after coming to power.
He declared that he would take out a rath yatra in Andhra Pradesh to expose Naidu.
