Naidu's Wishful Thinking: YSRC To Disappear!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has a wishful thinking: that the main opposition YSR Congress party will disappear after 2019 elections.

Naidu told media persons that the YSRC was making baseless allegations against his government and trying to stall the developmental programmes launched by him.

“I am sure, the people will teach the party and its leader a fitting lesson in the next elections. If it does not mend its destructive approach, it is going to disappear after the elections,” Naidu said without mentioning the name of YSR Congress party.

Obviously, Naidu is getting irritated with the series of agitation programmes being taken up by YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

“While I am toiling day and night to develop the state which suffered heavily due to bifurcation, the opposition is adopting `evil designs’ to stall the development,” he alleged.

While the State was getting financial assistance from the Centre for speeding up Polavaram project, the Opposition leader was inciting farmers to stall Polavaram Project and approached court. After failing in their first attempt in the court, he said that they also petitioned to Green Tribunal.

Later, he alleges that the opposition went to other states like Odissa and Chhattisgarh to instigate the people there against the dam construction.

“It is simply atrocious”, he said.
