Vijayawada: The latest talk in political circles is that BJP leader Veeramachaneni Ranga Prasad is likely to be made the chairman of Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple Trust Board.
It is interesting to note that Ranga Prasad happens to be a close confidant of BJP leader and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu.
In the past too, TDP had an alliance with BJP. But at the time, Chandra Babu did not give temple chairmanship to BJP leaders.
This time around, the situation is different and Babu has been giving priority to BJP leaders in the matter.
Well, for now, Venkaiah Naidu’s recommendation is the final word.
