![Naidu's Hypocrisy On Defections!](https://www.greatandhra.com/newphotos9/ga_politics1611037702.jpeg)
Politics, thy name is hypocrisy. And nobody knows is better than Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
While crying foul over a series of defections of his party MLAs in Telangana into the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, Naidu is blatantly encouraging defections of leaders from other parties into the TDP in Andhra Pradesh.
On Monday, he is learnt to have told his party colleagues that it was essential to admit certain strong leaders from other parties, particularly YSR Congress party, in order to strengthen the TDP. He assured that he would take care of the interests of the party loyalists, who are opposing such defections.
The TDP president reportedly gave green signal to the admission of Adinarayan Reddy, YSR Congress party MLA from Jammalamadugu in Kadapa district, into the TDP.
He called the local TDP leader Ramasubba Reddy, who has been strongly resisting Adinarayana Reddy’s entry into the party, and convinced him that the defection of the YSRC MLA would only help the party in Kadapa district.
A couple of other YSR Congress MLAs are also likely to quit the party to join the TDP in the coming days, sources said.
