When files in the Coal Ministry related to the Coal Scam were found missing, and the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was questioned about it, he said, “I am not a custodian of the files.”
Today, Chandrababu Naidu did something similar. In Nellore for the ‘International Women’s Day’ celebrations, Naidu was addressing a public gathering when he was interrupted by anti-government slogans from Anganwadi workers carrying placards, who wanted a solution to their problems.
Naidu became angry and asked them to stop. When they did not, he gave them a stern warning not to disrupt proceedings and asked the workers to raise their issues with the concerned authorities.
Since the workers could not get a response from the concerned authorities, they took to the process of protest to attract the attention of the CM, the highest authority in the State.
If the CM says that he is not the concerned authority, where will they go?
