Srinivasa Gargeya is a reputed astrologer believed to be close to Chandrababu Naidu. In fact, the 'Chandranna Sankranthi Pathakam' which involved distribution of free essential commodities to select households, was reportedly undertaken at the behest of Gargeya to ward off ‘Shani’ to Chandrababu.
The same Gargeya has now come out with a sensational statement. Gargeya said that the ‘muhurtam’ of the ‘bhoomi puja’ for the new capital is inauspicious.
He also clarified that he was not consulted at all regarding this issue. Any muhurtams prior to 40 days before the commencement of Pushkarams do not yield good benefits as per vaastu, said Gargeya.
He suggested that the muhurtam be held 70 days after the Pushkarams or any time after Dasara.
He said that the current muhurtam fixed by the government on June 6 was inauspicious and could result in adverse consequences.
