An audio recording of Atchennaidu, addressing his party members and calling for road protests against Chandrababu Naidu's arrest, has been leaked.
In the audio, he expressed his concern, stating that he feels ashamed when outsiders question the prevailing silence surrounding Chandrababu's arrest.
He emphasized that the outcome of the situation would become clear in a few hours and urged party members, both men and women, to participate in peaceful protests, at least, on the streets.
He reassured them that the police would not pose a problem for female protesters.
However, the reality within the party seems different.
A key insider, attempting to mobilize people, shared a contrasting perspective.
He stated, "Party members need public support, but many people, especially the youth, have their own interests, like the India-Pakistan Asia Cup match today. It's challenging to rally them today. Most young individuals are so engrossed in cricket that they hardly spare a thought for Chandrababu Naidu's court case."
This underscores a sad reality for the TDP. Aside from a few die-hard supporters, the party's core cadre, members, and the general public seem disengaged from the incident, insensitive to express their emotions regarding Chandrababu's arrest.
