The frustration and anger displayed by Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the Bharatiya Janata Party activists who blocked his convey in Kakinada on Friday came in for serious trolling in the social media and also in political circles.
The video showing Naidu shouting at the BJP workers and threatening them went viral on Saturday in the social media.
In the video, Naidu was seen stepping out of his vehicle and is heard asking the BJP workers: “Why are you behaving like this? What do the BJP people want? You have no right to be in the state. Do you have any shame? You should all be ashamed because of what your leader Narendra Modi has done. If you try to mess with me, you will be finished. What has your Narendra Modi done for the state?”
When a woman BJP worker responded to Naidu remarks, he cuts her off saying: “The public will not leave you if you go out and say his [Modi] name. Be careful...He ruined the state. Do you have any commitment to the state?”
YSR Congress party leader C Ramachandraiah said Naidu had finished whichever party that had worked with him in the past.
“He finished the Congress party in the recent Telangana assembly elections. Even the BJP which worked with the TDP in the past suffered defeat in the past. He damaged the UDF earlier. Now, he is going to finish his own party,” he said.
