Naidu To Delhi: What Would He Do?

As the battle for Samaikyandhra and bifurcation of the State has reached a feverish pitch, Telugu Desam Party president and Leader of the Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu is desperately trying to protect his own identity so that he would remain in contest in both Telangana and Seemandhra regions.

Naidu is leaving for New Delhi on Monday to meet President Pranab Mukherjee and other national leaders.

One wonders what he would request these leaders: whether he would pitch in for Samaikyandhra or Telangana or reiterate his equal justice slogan.

Party sources said Naidu is likely to meet national leaders of CPI, CPM, BJP and others to impress upon the issue to ensure that the issues related to residual state of Andhra Pradesh will be addressed properly.

The TD chief is also expected to make it a point that the Centre adopt an amicable policy on bifurcation.
