Former Minister and congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy suggested that the Telangana Telugu Desam leaders should revolt against their boss and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for deliberately stopping irrigation waters to second crop in Nalgonda and Khammam districts.
Talking to press persons here, he called upon Telangana Telugu Desam leaders to revolt against Naidu in this regard if they have guts.
He criticized Naidu for coming in the way of releasing waters to Telangana districts. If the TD leaders have any affection on Telangana and its farmers, they must question Chandrababu as to why he is hampering the interests of Telangana State.
Komatireddy also alleged that the AP Government is still in the mood of vengeance against Telangana and often picking up quarrels.
He accused Naidu of creating hurdles to Telangana State only to divert the minds of people who are against land acquisition for new capital.
He appealed to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to focus on the issue and fill up lakes in the two districts to supply irrigation waters to the crops.
