More than any other party in the Seemandhra region, it is Telugu Desam Party which is unfazed by the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
And TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu who is trying to make the best of both the States, is pretty confident that he can still steer the wheel at the Centre, though things are not so favourable to him anywhere in the two regions.
He tried to infuse confidence among the Telangana TDP leaders on Saturday, saying that the party would come to power in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States, as both the regions were developed during TDP government only.
Ridiculing the comments of some leaders that TDP would be finished in the Telangana region, TDP chief said as elections are coming soon he asked the party leaders to review the party position.
He hoped that the party would create a history in the country. The party would win in both the Telangana as well as in the Seemandhra regions.
He also said his party would cooperate in re-building of Telangana State and would also provide protection to all Seemandhra people who are living in Hyderabad.
Telangana people are not against Seemandhra people, he added.
