Naidu pulled up Ganta for Rushikonda visit?

Former minister and Telugu Desam Party legislator from Bheemili constituency in Visakhapatnam Ganta Srinivasa Rao is learnt to have received a strong reprimand from party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for putting up a big show at Rushikonda palatial bungalow built by previous Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government on Sunday.

According to sources, Ganta did not take any permission either from the government or the party head office before leading a delegation of his followers and media persons into the Rushikonda to inspect the so-called tourism resort complex which was proposed to be used as the chief minister’s residence-cum-camp office by Jagan, if he had come to power in the elections again.

Though nobody visited the palatial bungalow so far, Ganta went there in a convoy of cars, forced the department people to open the locks and inspect the complex.

The pictures of the bungalow, including its bathrooms and office rooms went viral on social media.

Sources said the entire hungama created by Ganta made Naidu angry.

In fact, the government had not taken a stand on the Rushikonda buildings complex and Naidu was planning to visit the place along with deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan some time in the last week of June or first week of July.

Though Naidu has no plans to use the Rushikonda building complex for his official use, there is a talk that the government might lease it out to a five-star hotel, so that it could fetch huge revenue to the government, to recover the expenditure incurred on constructing the same.

But even before Naidu took any decision, Ganta gatecrashed into the Rushikonda complex without even consulting Naidu or the other party leaders, causing a huge embarrassment to the government.

The chief minister reportedly pulled up Ganta for his overaction and asked him to be in his limits.
