Hyderabad: Till recently, the only weapon Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrabau Naidu had in his arsenal in Telangana was the defection of his MLA's to the TRS.
He did manage to get a fair degree of sympathy at the unethical defection of his MLA’s to the TRS although this sympathy did not translate into votes. But resorting to the same step in AP, Naidu has lost out on the high moral ground.
Ironically, this has become a habit with Naidu. Whatever strategy he criticizes KCR on, he implements the same in AP whether it be a household survey, Bhavans to communities or now the engineered defections.
These defections would mean that Naidu can no longer criticize KCR on any count there. And that means he has completely surrendered to KCR there.
