Telugu Desam Party president, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is well known for his media management. He knows what and how to “leaks” of select news to media so as to garner publicity.
On Monday, Naidu got the news deliberately leaked to a section of media how dissatisfied he is with the Narendra Modi government.
He was addressing an in camera meeting of the TD Legislature Party meeting in the Assembly, where he discussed the issues that could be raised in the Assembly during the ongoing budget session.
The TDLP meeting went on till 7 pm and even before it was completed, certain media channels stated flashing the reports that Naidu expressed serious anguish over the neglect of Andhra Pradesh by the Central government.
He is learnt to have commented that he would fight till the end to get maximum benefits to the State.
Apparently, Naidu’s media managers have been trying to convey to the people that the Chief Minister is unhappy with the Centre. However, such leaks are given only to the local channels and vernacular print media, while the national media still project Naidu as a friendly partner of the Modi government!
