Naidu Is Going All Out To Stall T-Bill

More than Seemandhra Congress MPs, Seemandhra union ministers and even YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy or for that matter Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, it is Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu who is said to be making hectic lobbying to stall the Telangana Statehood process.

According to reports from New Delhi, it was Naidu who had managed to change the mind of Bharatiya Janata Party to a large extent against granting Telangana statehood.

He convinced the top BJP leadership that there would be no benefit to the party if it supported Telangana.

Instead, the TRS would be compelled to support the NDA after the general elections hoping that it would grant Telangana; at the same time, it would fetch support from the TDP as well as the YSR Congress party from Seemandhra region to the NDA, he is learnt to have told the BJP leadership.

Naidu had several rounds of discussions with top leaders like L K Advani and Narendra Modi to put forth his argument.

His guide and philosopher Ramoji Rao is also said to be strongly lobbying against Telangana from behind the scene.

They are also putting pressure on the BJP leadership through industry giant Mukesh Ambani, say sources.
