Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday alleged that Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu was indulging in “cheap politics” for opposing separate State for Telangana region.
Speaking to media at Telangana Bhavan, KCR said Naidu has utterly failed in his efforts to attract national media on his dharna in Delhi.
Stating that the TDP chief had staged dharna on the demand of equal justice, KCR sought to know what equal justice would mean.
“Is it not a sheer cheap politics to oppose Telangana?”, he asked.
He said Telangana TDP leaders are deceiving the people by siding with their leader, who is dead against separate Telangana State.
Expressing his party’s gratitude to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and AICC president Sonia Gandhi for announcing formation of Telangana State, the TRS chief criticized Chandrababu Naidu for his comment against late Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
It was not proper on the part of Chandrababu Naidu, who ruled the State for nine years and as Leader of the Opposition for 10 years, to make such insane remarks against legendary figures.
