Naidu Goes To Idupulapaya!

For the first time, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday stepped into Idupulapaya village in Kadapa district, the private estate of his bête noire late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy.

Naidu went to Idupulapaya to participate in the convocation of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) established at the village during the YSR regime.

On his way, Naidu had a look at the “Samadhi” of YSR and also the lands belonging to YSR family in and around the village. Of course, it was only an aerial visit and Naidu did not pay a personal visit to YSR Samadhi.

This is the first time that Naidu had gone to Idupulapaya. Even after the death of YSR, Naidu did not go to the Samadhi to pay tributes to the former Chief Minister, who died in a tragic helicopter crash.

He apparently had no information that YSR had donated over 1,000 acres of land owned by his family at Idupulapaya to the government.

It would have been graceful on the part of Naidu had he personally visited the Samadhi to pay homage. But, can we expect such courtesy from the TDP boss?
