With elections to the state assembly just 18 months away, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has started focussing on revamping the party at all levels and promote those who had been working hard for the party right from the beginning.
According to party sources, Naidu has decided to fill up vacancies in the central committee, politburo and state committee before Dasara.
During a meeting of senior party leaders, he suggested that they come out with recommendations of the leaders who can take up the party job.
The TDP chief said he would give due recognition to the party leaders and cadre who worked hard during the Nandyal by-election and Kakinada Municipal Corporation elections by offering them posts in the State committee.
The exercise has been set in motion during the Mahanadu in May and Naidu has been finding it tough to find the leaders who can dedicate their full time for the party.
